A novelist’s views on Ukraine war
I firmly support the people of Ukraine, who, independent of any external intention or direction, have an inalienable right to determine the course of their own country.
You, the people of Ukraine, at this moment, represent all of us, those who are living in democratic countries. Your pain should be shared by all of us. Your pain is nothing but our pain.
I cordially pray that the people of Ukraine will soon be back to where they should be, and recover their way of life, having a pleasant chat with their dear ones, free from worry.
